Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Transport Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to various destinations within our hospital and surrounding areas. You will also assist with other portering duties as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a variety of vehicles to transport patients to appointments, treatments, and other locations.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient transportation activities.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of patient belongings and medical equipment.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations related to patient transport.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in providing safe and reliable transportation services is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to patient safety and well-being.
