Job Description
We are seeking a Ambulance Support Professional to join our team. As a key member of our patient transport service, you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient transportation for patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Transporting patients to and from medical appointments and between healthcare facilities.
- Assisting in the transportation of 'end of life' service users, ensuring a high level of empathy is present at all times.
- Building rapport by effectively communicating with patients and their relatives/friends.
- Responsible for lifting, securing, and helping service users in and out of the ambulance.
Requirements
- A valid UK manual driving license.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including early mornings and late nights.
- Effective communication skills and experience of communicating with others in emotional circumstances.
- Physical fitness for patient handling and moving.
- Pass an Enhanced DBS check (company funded).
