About the Role:

The Clinical Social Worker will work in the Emergency Department, providing behavioral health services to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work and experience working in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct emergency clinical assessments of patients and convey findings to attending physicians.
  2. Maintain accurate documentation and follow departmental procedures.
  3. Provide psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and brief counseling to patients with behavioral health needs.
  4. Coordinate referrals and report safety issues as necessary.
  5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide feedback and recommendations.

Requirements:

  1. Licensed as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) required.
  2. Experience in behavioral health and hospital settings preferred.
