Job Title: Emergency Department Assistant Manager

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

We are recruiting an experienced Emergency Department Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing administrative teams, ensuring smooth departmental operations and exceptional patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To lead and manage administrative teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective departmental operations.
  • To develop and implement strategic plans, improving departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
  • To collaborate with senior leaders and other departments to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
  • To participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., management, administration, business).
  • Significant experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in an administrative leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
