About the Role

Screwfix is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Team Leader to join our team. As a Retail Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading by example and setting high standards in our stores.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership - You will be responsible for leading a team of retail staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high store standards.
  • Customer Service - You will be the face of Screwfix, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that customers have a positive experience in our stores.
  • Store Operations - You will be responsible for managing store operations, including stock management, cash reconciliations, and audit compliance.
  • Team Development - You will work closely with the store management team to develop and implement training programs to improve team performance and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience - You will have previous experience as a supervisor or duty manager in a retail environment.
  • Customer Service Skills - You will have excellent customer service skills and be able to translate that into sales.
  • Leadership Skills - You will have strong leadership skills and be able to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Communication Skills - You will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
