About the Role

Deichmann is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Team Leader to join our team in our White City store. As a key member of our store management team, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Open and close the store, including cash handling and completion of associated administrative duties.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on product knowledge and sales.
  • Lead by example, recommending and promoting complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Assist management in leading the team to achieve store sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Support team members as needed, providing guidance and coaching to ensure success.
  • Maintain a visually appealing store environment, ensuring accurate merchandising and product displays.
  • Process stock deliveries and store transfers, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Address customer queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Previous supervisory experience, including cash handling and banking.
  • Self-motivated, with a positive and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to supervise, motivate, and work with a diverse team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to approach and serve all customers with a smile.
  • Drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
  • Methodical approach to completing daily tasks, including stock management.
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work any day, including weekends.
