Support Worker for Children with Additional Needs

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a Behaviour Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children with additional needs in a SEND specialist school in Gainsborough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher and other teaching assistants in the day-to-day running of the class
- Support children during lessons and school activities
- Support staff and children during lunch and break times
- Manage pupils' personalised learning based on their individual needs
Requirements:
- Experience working with young people
- Ability to work with people with high-level needs
- Highly organised with excellent communication skills
- Desire to work with, inspire, and support children
- Interest in supporting young people with a variety of SEND
- Experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable but not essential)
What We Offer:
A full-time, temp-to-permanent role commencing as soon as possible. We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
