We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Support Officer to join our PMO team, working across the nursing and midwifery education agenda, contributing to the delivery of the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive project administration support, including multitasking, problem-solving, and prioritizing workload with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to the delivery of the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan, working with a wide and varied range of stakeholders at all levels.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders, using excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Use MS Office packages and digital platforms to support project administration and communication.
- Work collaboratively to ensure our healthcare workforce has the right knowledge, skills, values, and behaviors to deliver accessible, compassionate care.
- Education to degree level or equivalent level of knowledge or experience in a similar area.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly, with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience of working in a similar role or industry, with a strong understanding of the national nursing and midwifery agenda.
NHS England operates a hybrid model of working, with 40% in-person working and 60% home working expected. As a national organization, there may be some requirement to travel nationally and stay overnight on occasion to support events and activities associated with the training.
