Progress Coach

As a Progress Coach, you will play a vital role in helping learners achieve their goals and reach their full potential. You will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to ensure that our curriculum is holistic, personalized, and tailored to meet the needs of each individual learner.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Facilitate project workshops to support learners in achieving their goals and developing their skills.
- Monitor and review individual study programs and progress cycles to ensure that learners are on track to meet their targets.
- Develop and coordinate individual learning plans and routes for students, taking into account their strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles.
- Support learners in reflecting on their progress and setting personalized targets, and provide guidance and resources to help them achieve their goals.
- Work with the Well-being Team to monitor attendance and support intervention strategies to ensure that learners are able to access the support they need.
- Leverage a range of activities, courses, and organizations to provide additional student support and enhance the learner experience.
- Assist in delivering careers information and promoting the Work Experience program to help learners develop their employability skills and make informed decisions about their future careers.
- Compile UCAS references for students progressing to Higher Education or employment, and provide guidance and support to help them prepare for their next steps.
- Provide energetic, flexible support to help students overcome learning barriers and achieve their full potential.
- Build relationships with parents/carers to keep them informed of student progress and involve them in their child's learning journey.
- A Level qualification or equivalent.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of inclusion, safeguarding, and development of skills.
- Knowledge of student support systems and related national legislation.
