**Job Title:** Academic Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Academic Support Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons to secondary school students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to meet the needs of secondary school students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching English at the secondary level

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a popular 11 to 18 school with 1250 students, known for its excellent KS4 progress and KS5 progress. The school has modern facilities, including a purpose-built English block and fitness suite.

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
