About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the education of children in Buckinghamshire. As an Academic Support Specialist, you will work closely with class teachers to enhance the learning and attainment of pupils.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support teachers in developing tailored plans to meet individual pupil needs
  • Promote independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion among pupils
  • Provide one-to-one or group support to ensure pupils can access the curriculum and participate fully in learning activities
Requirements
  • Hold GCSE or equivalent qualifications, including Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Maths
  • Meet HLTA standards or have relevant qualification/experience
