About the Opportunity:
Academics in High Wycombe is seeking a highly motivated Academic Support Assistant to join our team. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' mental health, socialization, and educational development within schools.
Your primary responsibilities will include creating coping mechanisms, de-escalation techniques, and personalized toolboxes to support students in managing their emotions and behaviors. You will also work closely with students to develop essential life skills, including emotional regulation, self-awareness, and problem-solving.
