Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Academic Support Worker to join our team in the High Wycombe area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with children and young people with SEND or a background in care or support work.

  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEND.
  • Assisting in the implementation of individualized education plans.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to ensure comprehensive support.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience working with SEND children or young people.
  • Background in care or support work is highly desirable.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

You will be required to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills are essential for this role.
