As a High Wycombe Education Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting students with autism, working closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to create a supportive learning environment. Your key responsibilities will include providing tailored support to students, assisting with behaviour management, and promoting positive behaviour in line with school policies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a School Support Worker or in a similar role is preferred
  • A genuine interest in supporting young people with autism and an understanding of the unique challenges they face
  • Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient approach
