Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Primary Education Specialist to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a Primary Education Specialist, you will be responsible for teaching an academic yet creative topic-based curriculum to a class of students in Year 2.

The successful candidate will have a strong academic record, QTS and PGCE qualification, and a proven track record of success within a Year 2 environment. They will be able to demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning, and communicate effectively with children and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach an academic yet creative topic-based curriculum to Year 2 students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social and emotional growth

Requirements:

  • QTS and PGCE qualification
  • Strong academic record
  • Proven track record of success within a Year 2 environment
  • Able to communicate effectively with children and parents
