About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Raytheon UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in delivering complex and high-profile programmes to customers based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex systems and subsystems using MathWorks toolsets such as MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of engineering processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or other STEM area.
  • Demonstrable experience using MathWorks toolsets such as MATLAB and Simulink.
  • Keen analytical approach to solving complex problems.
  • Eligible or holder of current SC security clearance.
Desirable Skills
  • Relevant commercial experience in model-based design.
  • Weapon systems domain knowledge and/or experience in a similar field.
  • Relevant model-based system engineering experience and/or knowledge.
  • Familiarity with software auto-code generation and/or C/C++ code design.
  • Experience in use of software development environments and associated configuration management and task management tools.
  • Experience in weapon system/subsystem/software qualification or certification.
