About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our team at Ballycommon. As a Senior Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our RC frame and groundworks projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Review and Implementation: Conduct thorough reviews of design changes and instruct setting out engineers on any day-to-day adjustments required, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Conduct thorough QA checks on-site, ensuring all work meets company standards and follows established procedures.
  • RFI and Call-Off Management: Handle Requests for Information (RFI) and manage material call-offs efficiently, ensuring the smooth progression of the project.
  • Temporary Works Inspections: Carry out inspections of temporary works as necessary, ensuring compliance with safety and structural requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of on-site experience in the UK, working for rival RC frame and groundwork subcontractors in a Senior Engineer role.
  • Stability: Proven stability in previous employment is crucial. We value candidates with consistent and reliable experience.
  • Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field is required.
