About the Role

This exciting opportunity has been created to deliver and oversee the contractual obligations of our partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing innovative, creative, multi-year, high-value sponsorship and partner packages for blue-chip corporate clients.

This role sits within the partnerships team but requires a collaborative approach to working due to the number of departments required to deliver to the expected levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rights Fulfilment: Manage the fulfilment of our contractual obligations, ensuring timely and effective delivery of partnership rights.
  • Account Management: Assist in managing existing partner relationships, including partner meetings, planning and executing deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with relevant departments (e.g., marketing, sales, events) to champion the partner requirements and ensure the smooth delivery of partnership rights.
  • Administrative Responsibilities: Responsible for administrative requirements relating to the partnerships department.
  • Budget Management: Manage partnerships budget in some areas.
Team Responsibilities
  • Revenue Generation: Drive revenue for the business through meaningful partnerships.
  • Rights Delivery: Ensure best-in-class rights delivery for all partners.
  • Relationship Building: Create and nurture relationships to ensure they remain fruitful for all.
  • Recruitment: Work with the Head of Partnerships to identify, pursue, and secure strategic partnerships to enhance the visibility and profitability of Silverstone.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, sales, events) to ensure the successful execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Rights Holder Relationships: Liaise with key Rights Holders, for example Formula One Management & Dorna, to ensure smooth delivery of events and activations.
Performance Responsibilities

Performance will be monitored against the following:

  • Objectives set through the Personal Development Review (PDR) process.
  • Best-in-class rights delivery.
  • Partner retention.

  • Finance.
  • Wider Silverstone team.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sports sponsorship account management or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Basis design skills desirable.
  • Knowledge of motorsport or a related industry is desirable.
