Job Title: Commercial Quantity Surveyor Specialist

Premier Forecourts and Construction is a leading provider of specialist construction services for fuel forecourt projects, electrical vehicle charging installations, public sector, retail, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimating for small schemes
  • Submitting monthly valuations
  • Negotiating Final Accounts
  • Compile Cost Value Reports (CVR) updates, budgets, and enquiries
  • Responsible for controlling and updating Project Enquiry (P&E) Log
  • Identification and submitting of fully built up variations
  • Conduct financial checks on completed projects and check compliance with Premier policies and procedures
  • Developing effective working relationships with clients, suppliers, and members of the Maintenance and Contracts team
  • Commercial reporting
  • Responsible for achieving set individual and department Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
  • Mentoring of Trainee and Assistant Quantity Surveyor

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • Two years or more experience of building and civils
  • Demonstrated knowledge of constructions and civil engineering principles
  • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate and control costs
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office 365 packages and a developed understanding of construction industry software packages, in particular we use; Evaluate, Sage Construct & Procure
  • A team-oriented individual that contributes at an operational level
  • Supports the business in delivering its Vision, Mission, and Premier Values

Salary: £45k+ plus £5,400 gross PA Car Allowance
