Job Title: Construction Commercial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Commercial Specialist to join our team in South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity for a quantity surveyor to take on a commercial role and support the project delivery team.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 40 hours of work per week.
  • You will be responsible for producing budgets, forecasts, and monthly CVRs, as well as managing project income recovery and ensuring prompt payment of invoices.
  • Liaising with clients to establish value for money on projects and budgets is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Producing accurate contract administration reports and cost controls.
  2. Leading the valuation, tendering, and submission of contract variations.
  3. Maintaining responsive communication with customers and resolving contractual issues and disputes.

Requirements:

  • HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
