Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Laboratory Technicians to join our team at Manpower UK Ltd. As a Mechanical Laboratory Technicians, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of materials produced by our manufacturing process.
Salary
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from £27,820 to £30,067 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. This includes paid breaks and benefits such as pension scheme, annual bonus, private medical and protection plans.
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting quality assessment of various materials output from the manufacturing process;
- Efficiently and effectively carrying out allocated testing processes;
- Maintaining clear and accurate observations and results.
You will work in a laboratory / quality testing environment, where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in research, development, and continual improvement processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Reliable and efficient working habits;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- BASIC IT knowledge and ability to understand written instructions with accuracy;
- Able to observe, articulate and record observations in a variety of settings and applications;
- 1-year practical experience with tensile testing techniques;
- A valid driving license and own transport for the remote location of the depot.

Other Information
This is a six-month temporary to permanent assignment, with an average of 12 shifts per month and rest periods of up to 6 days between. The shift pattern averages 6/7-night shifts per month, with overtime available dependent on business needs.
