About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing a universal biomolecular force field using recent advances such as continuous atom typing and graph neural networks. This project involves significant coding using the Julia package Molly and requires expertise in molecular dynamics methods and relevant machine learning techniques.
You will work with our world-class scientists in an institute renowned for its excellent scientific facilities and high-quality research. Our collaborative working culture and state-of-the-art building on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus provide a stimulating environment for your growth and development.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a universal biomolecular force field using advanced computational techniques
- Collaborate with senior researchers to integrate the new force field into existing molecular dynamics simulations
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new machine learning algorithms for biomolecular simulation
To be considered for this role, you must have a PhD in a relevant subject or be due to complete within six months. You should also have experience in coding and familiarity with computational chemistry, physical simulation, or machine learning.
