Manpower UK Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the position of Mechanical Laboratory Technician. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a laboratory / quality testing environment, contributing to research, development, and continual improvement processes.

Salary Range

The salary for this position ranges from £27,820 to £30,067 per annum, based on experience and qualifications. This includes paid breaks and benefits such as pension scheme, annual bonus, private medical and protection plans.

Job Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as a Mechanical Laboratory Technician will include:

  1. Conducting quality assessments of materials output from the manufacturing process;
  2. Efficiently and effectively performing allocated testing processes;
  3. Maintaining clear and accurate records of observations and results.

Key requirements for this role include:

  1. Reliable and efficient working habits;
  2. Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  3. BASIC IT knowledge and ability to understand written instructions with accuracy;
  4. Able to observe, articulate and record observations in a variety of settings and applications;
  5. 1-year practical experience with tensile testing techniques;
  6. A valid driving license and own transport for the remote location of the depot.
