Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Verify Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation process of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with customer and AS9102 requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete a thorough and accurate preparation of FAIRs in line with customer and AS9102 requirements.
  • Work with customer personnel to gain access to / obtain all the required supporting documentation to support the preparation / completion of the FAIRs.
  • Where issues are identified, work with the customer to identify potential solutions to ensure the FAIR preparation process can proceed.
  • Provide concise feedback to customer quality, engineering and design teams on road-blocks and facilitate feedback.
  • Maintain FAI tracker for review status, outcome and any issues identified.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years, in the last 5 years, aerospace experience in either a quality engineering or manufacturing engineering capacity.
  • Strong and robust working knowledge of AS9102 at the current revision, in addition to a sound understanding of the requirements of AS9100.
  • The ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, supported by a strong aerospace / defence mechanical and electrical background.
  • Ability to articulate FAI issues both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically with the use of Microsoft Office applications and custom databases.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be a UK National (due to program security restrictions).
