Key Responsibilities
  • Perform trace inorganic analysis on various samples using established procedures.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior analysts and extraction team members.
  • Lead projects, including method development and validation, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Review and interpret analytical data for entry into the Laboratory Information Management System.
Requirements
  • Degree-level qualification in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an accredited analytical testing laboratory – ideally in the environmental/water industry.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in analytical approach and ability to handle high throughput and varied analysis in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate can expect a salary of approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
