Materials Management Coordinator

About the Role
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Management Assistant to join our Blood Sciences department in Sutton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting laboratory supplies, verifying and documenting deliveries, and managing stock and inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and inspecting deliveries of laboratory supplies, ensuring accurate logging and storage
- Verifying and documenting deliveries, including checking quantities and lot numbers
- Managing stock and inventory levels, including batch segregation and labeling
- Coordinating inter-site logistics, including dispatch and receipt of items between sites
- Providing administrative support to the department, including general portering and administrative tasks
Requirements
- Good general education, including GCSE grade C or higher in English and Maths
- Experience of MS Excel and MS Word, including creating and using spreadsheets
- Effective team working and communication skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and express themselves clearly
