Materials Management Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Materials Management Assistant to join our team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Blood Sciences department, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting laboratory supplies, verifying and documenting deliveries, and managing stock levels to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect critical laboratory supplies, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify and document deliveries, including checking quantities and lot numbers.
- Manage stock levels, including separating deliveries into batches and ensuring proper storage conditions.
- Coordinate inter-site logistics, including dispatching and receiving items between sites.
Requirements
- Good general education, including GCSE grade C or higher in English and Maths.
- Experience with MS Excel and MS Word, including creating and using spreadsheets.
- Effective team working and communication skills.
