Approved Mental Health Professional Role

Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated recruitment agency, is seeking an Approved Mental Health Professional to join their team in Bromley. This permanent role offers a salary of up to £50,063 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have a professional Social Work qualification or equivalent and be able to undertake Mental Health Act assessments and statutory functions. They will also work closely with service users and carers to assess and identify their needs, ensuring these needs are met to enhance their quality of life and independence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in the AMHP borough-wide rota
- Providing professional advice and expertise to less experienced staff
- Establishing, monitoring, and reviewing care plans agreed with service users, carers, and service providers
This role requires strong communication and consultation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external professionals and organisations. The successful candidate will contribute to the control of team budgets, ensure welfare benefit entitlement, and participate in safeguarding investigations.
