Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and empathetic Mental Health Advocate to join our team at Hestia. In this role, you will work closely with individuals who have experienced mental health and dual diagnosis issues, ex-offenders, and those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and empower service users to make choices and take control of their wellbeing to achieve appropriate levels of independence
  • Utilise key working sessions to enable service users to develop and sustain independence, maintain their tenancy, and enjoy a good quality of life
  • Liaise effectively with other agencies involved in supporting service users

You will be responsible for promoting independence with service users through effective relationship building and providing quality information on alternative housing options when needed.
