About the Role

Ruby Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Learning and Development to join our team. As a key member of our People function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a range of learning and development initiatives to support the growth and development of our employees, including training programs, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and subject matter experts to understand and address the learning and development needs of the organization.
  • Design and deliver a comprehensive induction program for new employees, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Oversee the use of the Apprenticeship Levy to support the development of our employees and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders and providers to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the learning and development function and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Learning and Development or a related field.
  • Significant experience of leading a Learning and Development function, including team leadership and management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful learning and development strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement.
