Job Overview:

Carers Trust Hillingdon is a local charity that provides support services for unpaid carers in the London Borough of Hillingdon. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Young Carers Manager.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To manage and develop all borough-wide young carer services outside the Schools Outreach programme.
  • To form a strong working relationship with the current Schools Outreach Manager and to jointly provide clear guidance and leadership to all operational staff across Children and Young People's services.
  • To ensure appropriate cross-referral between services and that young and young adult carers receive the right support, at the right time, from the right part of the organisation.
  • To take a lead on developing relationships outside the organisation that benefit the futures of our young and young adult carers, with a particular focus on local businesses to secure training, work experience, and apprenticeships.
