About the Role:
We are seeking a Family Support Coordinator to join our team in the South East of England. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of child care law, statutory guidance, and safeguarding practices.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with families, respecting their rights and working in partnership to identify strengths and support their needs.
- Conduct assessments to determine the level of risk and develop SMART plans to ensure children's welfare and reduce risks.
- Foster relationships with local communities and stakeholders to promote positive outcomes for children and families.
Requirements:
- A professional qualification in social work (e.g., CQSW, DipSW) and registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body.
- Substantial experience in working with children and young people, ideally in a statutory setting.
- Excellent communication and partnership-working skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
