About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Midwife to join our Community Midwifery team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional maternity care in a range of community settings.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work as part of our team of dedicated and enthusiastic Community Midwives, delivering care to women and families in the community. This will involve working closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive maternity care.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in midwifery, with experience of working in community settings. They will also have excellent interpersonal skills, a positive approach to change, and the ability to exercise professional accountability and autonomy.

Person Specification

  • RM and eligible to practice
  • Evidence of further study and development of professional and academic skills
  • Sound knowledge of recent Government/Professional documents with awareness of implications to service provision
  • Able to demonstrate motivation to maintain professional development
  • Ability to work within acute and primary health care settings
