Child and Family Practitioner Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Child and Family Practitioner. As a key member of our CAMHS community team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and families.
About the RoleThis is a 12-month training programme that will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a Senior Mental Health Practitioner. You will work closely with our experienced team to develop your clinical skills and expertise, while also completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Children & Young People's Mental Health Therapies.
Key Responsibilities- Work as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner within our CAMHS community team, providing high-quality care and support to children and families.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, service users, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in teaching and training activities, sharing your expertise and knowledge with others.
- Complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Children & Young People's Mental Health Therapies, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a CAMHS-recognised core qualification (nursing, social work, occupational therapy, etc.) and be registered with either the NMC, the HCPC, or Social Work England. You must also be able to study and write academic material at a Postgraduate level.
