We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Child and Family Practitioner. This is a unique opportunity to work with our community teams and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services to children and young people.
About the RoleThis is a 12-month training programme that will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to work as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner within our CAMHS community teams. As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced professionals and have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Work as a Senior Mental Health Practitioner within our CAMHS community teams, providing high-quality mental health services to children and young people.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and other professionals to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health interventions and strategies that promote positive outcomes for service users.
- Participate in regular supervision and training to ensure ongoing professional development and adherence to best practice.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a CAMHS-recognised core qualification (nursing, social work, occupational therapy, etc.) and be registered with either the NMC, the HCPC, or Social Work England. You will also need to be able to study and write academic material at a Postgraduate level.
