The Central Support Office is seeking a skilled Maintenance Support Specialist to join their team. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and upkeep of all facilities within the company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, be detail-oriented, and work efficiently to resolve issues promptly, minimizing any disruptions to guest services.

This role is responsible for supporting the Maintenance Manager and Operations team, taking responsibility for the day-to-day administration of the estate.

The role will be field-based and will involve travel throughout the UK, overseeing all of the company's brands within the portfolio. Must have access to both London and Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all maintenance efforts across the company
  • Manage the planned and reactive maintenance required to ensure the upkeep and function of the company's brands
  • Perform routine inspections and scheduled preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) to ensure functionality and safety
  • Ensure all maintenance work complies with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies
  • Respond to emergency calls and assist in handling any urgent repairs, including after-hours when necessary

About You:

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety standards
  • Good communication skills to interact with staff and guests
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A collaborative and supportive team player
  • Basic computer skills for work order management
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekend and on-call shifts
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations
  • Full, clean driving license
