Lead Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our team at London Bridge Hospital, a leading private healthcare provider in the UK.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide leadership and operational management for our core pharmacy operational services, working closely with the Pharmacy Leadership team to develop and implement service development strategies.

Key responsibilities will include managing workforce planning, operational services, and training and development of the technical team, as well as analysing relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), audit and financial results, and preparing reports.

Requirements
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Pharmacy NVQ Level 3 plus accredited underpinning knowledge (BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent) or equivalent
  • Significant post qualification experience relevant to hospital pharmacy practice
  • Experience of training, supervising and managing staff
  • Knowledge of Omnicell, Meditech and Datix incident reporting system (desirable)
  • Knowledge of medicines management systems at ward level and requirements of ACPT (desirable)
