Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to join our Crisis Community Mental Health Team in Whitehaven and Carlisle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with mental health needs in the community.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, and deliver care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, families, and carers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans.
  • Participate in clinical decision-making and contribute to the development of the team.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Experience in mental health nursing, preferably in a community setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and policies.
