Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Psychiatric Nurse to join our Crisis Team in Carlisle and surrounding areas. As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop care plans for individuals with mental health needs
  • Provide counseling and therapy sessions to individuals and groups
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct home visits and assessments to identify individual needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (Mental Health) qualification
  • Experience working in a community mental health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation and policies
