About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist students with their learning across the curriculum, providing individualized support and guidance as needed.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to deliver learning materials and support the development of lesson plans.
- Act with initiative to help design a curriculum suited to the needs of individual students.
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly those with ASD/Asperger's.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of the school.
- Existing TA/LSA qualifications or good passes in English and Maths are advantageous.
