East Cheshire NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and inspirational midwifery leader to join their senior team.

This exciting opportunity involves driving the Maternity Safety and Quality agenda and leading operational delivery with the senior management team.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Head of Midwifery, Women's and Children's Services to develop midwifery services in line with the trust's strategic direction.

Key objectives include developing a culture where staff are valued and respected, while promoting visible and accessible leadership throughout the organisation.

Working jointly with other key stakeholders, the Deputy Head of Midwifery/Matron will ensure that service developments and improvements are centred on patient needs, responsive to clinical requirements, and aligned with professional standards.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 based on location and experience.

A consistent and co-ordinated approach to operational management and service provision is essential for ensuring effective and high-quality patient care.

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping maternity services at East Cheshire NHS Trust, which values its people and aims to provide outstanding care to all patients.
