Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will hold overall responsibility for managing care delivery in line with Trust policies and procedures. They will provide senior leadership to the nursing team, facilitate regular supervision and appraisals, and manage resources efficiently. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth communication and continuity of care across services.
Main Duties- Lead the nursing team in delivering high-quality patient-focused care
- Maintain clinical standards in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council's Code of Professional Conduct
- Ensure that patient care is at the heart of service delivery
- Support staff, patients, and visitors within the clinical environment
The ideal candidate will possess effective leadership and management skills, as well as a keen interest in caring for the elderly care population. A good understanding of advanced clinical practice and service development is also essential.
