Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Lead to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Clinical team, you will be responsible for leading on reviewing referrals to our Cheshire Children and Young People's Mental Health Hub (CYPMHH) and triaging referrals for children and young people. You will also offer advice on appropriate support and signposting, and contribute to consultations with support professionals working with families and young people.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and be part of our developments in 0-18 Mental Health Access Services in the Community. You will work closely with our team to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people, and contribute to the development of our services.

As a Clinical Team Lead, you will have a working knowledge of specialist therapeutic approaches, such as CBT and Family Therapy, and experience of working with children and young people with complex mental health needs. You will also have experience of inter-agency working and writing, implementing, and evaluating care/treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on reviewing referrals to CYPMHH and triaging referrals for children and young people
  • Offer advice on appropriate support and signposting
  • Contribute to consultations with support professionals working with families and young people
  • Develop and implement care/treatment plans for children and young people
  • Work closely with our team to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people

Requirements:

  • Professional registration with a recognised National Body (HCPC, NMC, Social Work England)
  • Nationally recognised post-qualification, continuous professional development (CPD) related to the core profession (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional)
  • Working knowledge of specialist therapeutic approaches, such as CBT and Family Therapy
  • Experience of working with children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Experience of inter-agency working
