Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader in the Outpatients Booking Team at East Cheshire NHS Trust.

The post holder will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities.

You will need to be highly motivated, with a strong work ethic to deliver to tight deadlines.

You will have a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on supporting your team, service users, and Operational Managers.

You must have the ability to aspire and support your team and promote change in a positive and effective manner.

You will be essential in escalating capacity and monitoring performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • To support the Outpatient Management Team in delivering a consistent and coordinated approach to the operational management of outpatient services across the organization.
  • To ensure staff receive appropriate levels of training and supervision.
  • To have specific responsibility for updating the relevant computerized booking systems for clinic maintenance, ensuring this function is coordinated and updated accurately and in a timely manner.
  • To manage appointment capacity and monitor the timeliness of patient appointments and utilization of cancelled appointments.
  • To manage the booking team on a day-to-day basis, ensuring implementation of changes to ensure a clear operational streamlined approach is delivered to the team supported by standard operational procedures.
  • To follow Trust Policies in relation to patient information, storage of case notes, and tracking procedures.
