About this role: We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Harplands Hospital. As a key member of the mental health services, you will work closely with other professionals to deliver high-quality care to males with a variety of mental health needs.

Main duties include providing specialist assessment and interventions to identify and address occupational performance needs in self-care, productivity, and leisure. You will work with older people and their families using Person Centred Planning approaches.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, training, and advice on lifestyle changes and adaptations to clients' physical and social environments.
  • Plan, organise, and supervise implementation of treatment aimed at enabling clients to achieve their maximum potential in activities of daily living.

Requirements:

  • Hold Health and Care Professional Standards of Proficiency for Occupational Therapists (HCPC) Registration.
  • Knowledge of current best practice in older persons Occupational Therapy.
