Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced teaching assistant to support students with special educational needs in our partnered school in Small Heath, Birmingham.

Salary: £85-£95 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay).

About the Role:

This physically demanding position requires you to help children navigate their way around the school grounds due to physical and mental disabilities.

Requirements:

  • Holds a level 2 or 3 teaching assistant qualification
  • At least 1 year's experience working within schools in the UK (primary, secondary or SEN)
  • Kind and considerate with good physical fitness
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs
  • Previous experience supporting SEND children on a small group or 1:1 basis
  • Passion for education and supporting pupils in their learning and development
