Hospitality and Catering Professional

We are seeking a hospitality and catering professional to join our team at the Lochgelly Centre. As part of our onsite catering team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

The role involves working Thursdays and Fridays from 10:30 to 13:30, with flexibility to meet business needs, which may include weekend and evening work when programmed events are planned within the venue offering bar service.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £67, with enhanced rates of £16.89 per hour for evenings after 8pm and weekend working. We also provide a range of employee benefits, including access to a local government pension scheme, generous holiday allowance, and flexible working opportunities.

To be successful in this role, you will need experience in a catering environment, cooking and preparation skills, bar knowledge, and Barista training. You should have knowledge of health and safety requirements and a good understanding of allergens in the food environment. You will be a team player, energetic, possess good literacy and numeracy skills, and have a flexible 'can do' attitude.
