Trained Maintenance Professional

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Repair Specialist to support our team at Crewe Depot, where they will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety of our Rolling Stock Fleet as it moves around the UK.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repair of our busy fleet of electric and diesel/electric locomotives within an excellent working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safe operation of our Rolling Stock Fleet
- Carry out complex repairs and diagnose faults using electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment with minimal supervision
- A minimum Technical Qualification of NVQ Level 3
- Previous experience in a busy workshop environment (Automotive, Armed Forces, HGV, etc.)
- Able to work shifts: 2 days / 2 nights then 4 off
- Reside within commutable distance of Crewe (60 minutes travel time or less)
- A strong affinity for problem-solving, fault diagnosis (electrically and mechanically), and repair
- Ability to use a Fluke or multimeter
- A competitive salary exceeding £44,000 per annum
