Locomotive Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Loomotive Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Shorterm Group. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing locomotives, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Your primary focus will be on performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and making repairs as needed. You will work closely with other engineers and technicians to ensure that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.
We offer a competitive salary of £44,182 per annum, plus opportunities for overtime and professional growth within our company.
Requirements:
- Technical NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field
- Live within a 1-hour commutable distance from the Crewe depot
- Ability to pass a Network Rail-related medical and drug & alcohol check
