About the Role

Henderson Scott is seeking an experienced Enterprise Cyber Sales Executive to join our team in the banking and finance vertical. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and identifying high-value opportunities with banks and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities within the banking and finance vertical.
  • Relationship Building: Establish relationships with key senior decision-makers in target accounts and leverage your extensive network to drive business growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that targets high-value prospects and delivers six and seven-figure TCV deals.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring a seamless and successful sales process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and pre-sales, to ensure a cohesive sales strategy.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting, maintaining up-to-date records in our CRM system.
  • Industry Representation: Represent Henderson Scott at industry events, conferences, and meetings with customers and partners.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of enterprise cybersecurity sales experience, with at least 5 years focused solely on the banking and finance vertical.
  • Solutions Sales Approach: A true solutions sales approach, focused on delivering business outcomes to customers.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of selling six and seven-figure TCV deals within the banking and finance sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and the specific challenges faced by the banking and finance industry.
  • Channel Partnerships: Experience working with channel partners to identify, develop, and close sales opportunities.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Independence and Proactivity: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, start-up environment, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • CRM and Sales Forecasting Tools: Familiarity with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and partners.
